Private Voice Lessons

Ila Faubion is a singing voice specialist in Poulsbo, Washington, and is also qualified to help with rehabilitative voice work for singers working through vocal injury. She is currently accepting any rehabilitative students and a limited number of performance students. While she accepts all ages into her performance studio, she is currently only accepting students with at least 1 year of experience singing in some capacity (musicals, choir, band, etc.)

RATES: $70 for 45 minutes (u-12 or by special permission) and $85 for 60 minutes. Ila accepts cash, check, venmo, and paypal.

HOW TO SCHEDULE: Please email or call to schedule. a first lesson appointment. Ila currently teaches Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. She teaches out of her home studio, PLEASE NOTE: Ila’s studio space is very limited! She currently has few weekly openings, but has an active wait-list. If you are looking for recommendations for teachers with immediate openings or for lessons for beginners, please email for a referral to a local colleague.

PLEASE NOTE: Ila’s home is a hobby farm and there are many animal allergens on the property, including cats, dogs, chickens, and ducks. Please let Ila know if allergies are a concern and she will make every effort to accommodate.

ONLINE LESSONS: available via ZOOM for those who are outside of the Kitsap Penninsula region. Ila is also always happy to have zoom lessons in instances of illness, weather, unforseen circumstances, or covid exposure.

YOUR FIRST LESSON:

Please bring a song and accompaniment track that you enjoy singing! It can be any genre. You can expect to run through some standard vocal warm-up exercises that will help Ila get a sense of your voice and experience level.
